Robert Weekly is a data scientist at the EarthScope Consortium since March 2014, specializing in designing and testing data access services while maintaining the web services architecture of the IRIS Data Management Center. Prior to this role, Robert Weekly earned a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Washington, where research focused on employing geophysical techniques to monitor and image the oceanic crust and lithosphere at mid-ocean ridges. Additional experience includes serving as a research assistant at Columbia University, where Robert Weekly located microearthquakes using an ocean-bottom seismometer network, and working as a computer lab technician at Cornell University, providing maintenance and troubleshooting in an academic computing center. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Geological Sciences and Mathematics from Cornell University.
