Akshay began their career in 2018 as an Intern at Technologics Global Private Limited. In 2019, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. In 2021, Akshay became a Robotics Engineer at Peppermint Robots, where they were involved in Robotics core stack development for AMRs and revamping the obstacle detection stack. Also in 2021, Akshay interned at Centre for Artificial Intelligence And Robotics, DRDO, where they developed a walking policy for a quadruped robot using Reinforcement Learning. Currently, Akshay is a Robotics Engineer at EarthSense, Inc.

Akshay's education history includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus from 2019 to 2021, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the K S Institute of Technology, BANGALORE from 2014 to 2018, an Undergraduate degree in PCMB from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College from 2012 to 2014, and education from Sri Aurobindo Memorial School - India from 2008 to 2012. Akshay has also obtained certifications in Introduction to Hypermesh from Altair in May 2021, CoLLearn Certified Sports Analytics with Gaurav Sundararaman from CoLLearn in April 2021, Python Data Structures from Coursera in March 2021, and ENGR2000X: A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations from edX in August 2020.
