Heather Beard

Heather Beard is the Executive Director of EarthShare NC, where they connect businesses with 28 North Carolina-based and over 70 national nonprofits focused on environmental health. Under their leadership, EarthShare NC established partnerships with more than 100 businesses to enhance employee engagement in conservation efforts. Heather has spearheaded the Corporate Partner program, which launched in 2021, aimed at fostering corporate engagement in environmental protection. They serve on the EarthShare National Board and Executive Committee and are involved in local food security initiatives through PORCH. A native of Durham, North Carolina, Heather holds a degree in Business Administration from Meredith College and a Master's in Environmental Policy from Tufts University.
