Mike Schedel

Mike Schedel is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in field investigations and geotechnical reporting. Currently serving as a Staff Geologist at Earthtec Engineering since June 2021, Mike conducts geological hazard studies and prepares reports for construction projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Field Geologist/Engineer at Western Technologies Inc. from February 2016 to May 2021, where Mike was responsible for soil sample collection and analysis, as well as training in geotechnical testing methods. Mike also has experience as an Industrial/Commercial Stormwater Inspector for Salt Lake County and has supported research at the UW Department of Geology & Geophysics. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Wyoming between 2009 and 2014.
