Ethan Buckner serves as the Interim Energy Program Director at Earthworks, leading efforts to phase out oil, gas, and petrochemical development while supporting frontline communities. With a background as a Senior Manager and Campaign Manager in energy infrastructure at Earthworks, Ethan Buckner has dedicated extensive efforts to protecting communities from adverse environmental impacts. Additionally, Ethan Buckner is a singer-songwriter, with a debut LP titled "Treading Water," and curates intimate concerts through Bring Back The Music LA. Previously involved in the indie folk/pop project The Minnesota Child, Ethan Buckner also worked as a Senior Campaigner at Stand.earth, advocating for health and environmental priorities, and graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Social Movements and Social & Environmental Justice.
