Alan Andersen

Alan Andersen is an Independent Consultant at EAS Consulting Group, LLC, where they have worked since 2013. Previously, they served as the Director at the Cosmetic Ingredient Review from 1993 to 2013, leading efforts to assess the safety of chemicals in cosmetics. They held various positions at the FDA from 1971 to 1993, focusing on radiation protection research and medical device rulemaking. Additionally, they were the Past-President of the FDA Alumni Association from 2008 to 2013. Alan holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Penn State University and a B.S. in Biology and Physics from Muhlenberg College.
