Valentin Haarscher

Valentin Haarscher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Valentin is currently the co-founder and CEO of Easop, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Operations at Cycle App from July 2020 to January 2022.

Valentin also has experience in the mobility sector, having served as a Board Director at Poppy Mobility from August 2019 to July 2020. Valentin also held the role of CEO a.i. at Poppy Mobility from March 2019 to August 2019, and was a Board Member from September 2017 to March 2019.

Before joining Poppy Mobility, Valentin was a Co-founder & Associate at Lab Box, a Belgian start-up studio focused on the future of mobility. Valentin held this position from February 2017 to July 2020. Valentin also worked as an Investment Associate at D'Ieteren from February 2017 to January 2018, where they kick-started D'Ieteren Mobility and co-founded the spin-off Lab Box.

Valentin's early career included roles as a Senior Associate Consultant and Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from June 2016 to February 2017 and October 2014 to June 2016 respectively. Valentin also worked as a Junior Project Manager at IBM France from June 2013 to September 2013, and as an Event Manager at 3 Day Startup from April 2012 to November 2012.

Valentin Haarscher earned a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles between 2009 and 2011. Valentin then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering at CentraleSupélec from 2011 to 2013. Following this, Valentin attended Université libre de Bruxelles again and completed a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Technology & Management from 2013 to 2014.
