When the power goes out, the clock starts ticking.
For 35 years, East Coast Generators, incorporating Generator Rentals Australia, has helped businesses, infrastructure projects, major events and communities keep operating when reliable power matters most.
We’re a family-owned and operated business built around rapid response, practical solutions and genuine 24/7 support. Because outages, shutdowns and project delays rarely happen at convenient times.
We’ve supported major Victorian events including the Australian Open, Moomba Festival and the Spring Racing Carnival, earning the trust of authorities, contractors and organisations that need equipment to perform when failure isn’t an option.
We provide end-to-end capability across generator sales, hire and service, supporting customers across the full lifecycle of their power requirements. Whether short-term hire, long-term rental or servicing, the focus is keeping sites operational.
Our equipment is selected for proven performance in real-world conditions. We prioritise reliability because downtime is rarely an option and customers depend on equipment that simply works when needed most.
Backed by our own fleet of delivery trucks and service vehicles, we mobilise quickly, adapt to changing site requirements and respond when it matters most.
Because temporary power is never just about equipment.
It’s getting a call at 2am and knowing what’s required before the conversation finishes.
It’s routing trucks through wet sites and road closures to keep projects moving.
It’s fuel planning that holds through a shutdown.
It’s load decisions under pressure where “close enough” isn’t good enough.
It’s technicians solving problems in the dark while others wait for morning.
When it works, no one notices. When it doesn’t, everything stops.
At ECG, we still believe good service is simple:
Answer the phone.
Turn up when you say you will.
Communicate clearly.
Solve problems quickly.
Simple in theory. Rare in practice.
