Desiree Francis is an experienced educator with a focus on early childhood education and teaching. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at East Harlem Tutorial Program since December 2022, Desiree has previously worked as an At-Home Educator at Dearest, Inc. since October 2019, and served as a Lead Teacher at both Union Settlement and Bushwick United Early Learning Center. Additional experience includes positions as an Instructional Assistant at Manhattan Charter School and as a Private Tutor, providing targeted re-teaching in mathematics and English language arts. Desiree holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from St. John's University.
