Maxwell Turner is the Managing Director of Operations at the East Harlem Tutorial Program, a position held since 2017. Previously, Turner served as the Director of School Operations at Achievement First from 2014 to 2017, and as an Assistant Director at the Summer Principals Academy from 2012 to 2014. Turner began their career in education as an English Teacher at Clinton Middle School from 2007 to 2009 and also worked as a Master Teacher at Pointe Coupee Central High School from 2010 to 2011. Turner earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Teachers College of Columbia University in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies from USC, acquired in 2007.
