Fifty years ago, East West Communities began development on Brandermill, the nationally award-winning planned community in Richmond, Virginia. With each new community since, we've continued to build on our heritage of innovation and achievement. Our superior home design, environmental stewardship, and imaginative amenities continue to attract new homebuyers and sustain our national reputation and industry leadership. We believe the ideal community combines the best of traditional neighborhoods with modern lifestyle enhancements.

The company’s mission has been to offer the ultimate recreational lifestyle for its residents with environmental sensitivity and innovative housing designs.
