Ray Blake

Mr. Blake serves as Director of Engineering and technical advisor to the Asset Management and Development teams for Easterly Government Properties.

Mr. Blake serves as the technical advisor for Easterly’s west coast portfolio, including mechanical, electrical and control systems, as well as capital budget planning, annual mechanical maintenance budget planning and the day-to-day operations of the Easterly mechanical systems. Mr. Blake also serves as laboratory specialist technical advisor to the Easterly development team, which includes reviewing mechanical drawings and specifying mechanical equipment and building control systems for new construction projects and retrofit upgrades.

Mr. Blake has over 35 years of experience in mechanical, building automation controls and the electrical industry. Mr. Blake has been with the Easterly portfolio for over 20 years, both as a Western Devcon laboratory Chief Engineer and Technical Advisor and as an engineer for Easterly Government Properties.

Mr. Blake served in the U.S Navy as a Mechanical and Propulsion Specialist and received an honorable discharge after eight years of service. Mr. Blake has attended numerous technical training schools, specializing in mechanical systems, controls, mechanical system design and various specialized technical programs.
