Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is an experienced poet educator and facilitator currently serving at Eastside since January 2021, while also holding the position of Artistic Director at The Cultural Chameleon Press since September 2009, focusing on performance and published poetry alongside educational resources. In addition to these roles, Mark has worked as a cover teacher and youth worker at HARRIS GIRLS' ACADEMY EAST DULWICH since September 2008, and as a supply teacher with Protocol Education since October 2005. Mark's acting credits include a corporate film for Casual Films and a holiday show at BLUE ELEPHANT THEATRE LIMITED. Mark's earlier experience includes roles such as Special Education Teacher at Thomas Tallis School and Associate Director of Education with Y Touring Theatre Company. Mark holds several degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Rose Bruford College and a Graduate Teacher Programme from Goldsmiths, University of London.
