Derek Foo

Derek Foo has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Derek started their career as an Investment Consulting Intern at Credit Suisse in 2012, where they gained insights into private banking and assisted investment consultants in customizing investment portfolios for clients. In 2013, Derek joined Standard Chartered Bank as a Relationship Manager and Personal Financial Consultant, where they handled a portfolio of clients in the preferred and priority banking segments and achieved top performance in meeting targets. Derek then moved to Eastspring Investments in 2015, initially as a Relationship Manager in the Southern Region, responsible for managing and increasing net sales. Later, they took on the role of Regional Manager in Channel Marketing and Distribution, where they played a key role in growing the regional agency businesses and contributed to the digitalization of the company's business.

Derek Foo attended Hwa Chong Institution from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their GCE 'A' Levels. From 2010 to 2013, Derek pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics at The University of British Columbia.
