Hagit Shemer

Hagit Shemer is the R&D Tech Lead at easy. Hagit has over ten years of experience as a software developer, specializing in Ruby on Rails, web development, and iOS development.

Shemer started their career as a software developer at Intel in 2004. Hagit worked there for three years before moving to Telmap in 2007. At Telmap, they worked on the development of a secured browser for iOS. Hagit left Telmap in 2010 to join Trusteer as a software developer.

At Trusteer, Shemer researched, designed, and developed a secured browser for iOS. Hagit left Trusteer in 2012 to become a full-stack software developer. Hagit then worked for Applicaster as a senior iOS developer before moving to Opinion Stage in 2014.

At Opinion Stage, Shemer was a full-stack Ruby on Rails and web developer. Hagit was responsible for product specification, design, and development on both the client and server side. Hagit left Opinion Stage in 2016 to join easy as their R&D Tech Lead.

Hagit Shemer completed a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Hagit Shemer reports to Hannit Cohen, R&D Manager. Hagit Shemer works with Gili Lapid - DevOps Developer, Doron Mishli - R&D team lead, and Ilan Barshir - R&D team lead.
