Dimitri Hempel

Dimitri Hempel has a diverse work experience in the film industry. Dimitri started their career at Diverse Produktionen in 2006 as a 2.AC, assisting on feature films and commercials. Dimitri then worked as an electrician for film and TV productions from 2007 to 2011. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Director of Photography and Lichtsetzender Kameramann at Diverse Produktionen. In 2012, Dimitri co-founded Easydoesit GmbH and took on multiple roles including CEO, Executive Producer, CO-Founder, and Director of Photography.

Dimitri Hempel attended the Berlin Brandenburg Film Commission in 2019 where they studied Nachhaltiges Drehen / Green Producing. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they studied Documentary Filmmaking / Camera at the University for Documentary Filmmaking "Zelig" in Italy, earning a Camera Diploma.
