Emaan Hasan

Emaan Hasan has worked for five companies since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern for Edgeon Solutions. In 2018, they worked as a Data Science Intern for Linked Things. From 2019 to 2022, they worked for Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited as an Information Security Management Trainee, for Daraz as a Data Security Responsible Person and a Data Loss Prevention Analyst, and for Easygenerator as a Privacy and Security Officer. During their time at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited, they carried out an extensive gap analysis of the company's existing information security controls against ISO 27001 and PSI-DSS standards and developed company-wide best practices for IT security. At Daraz, they were responsible for being the final auditor and approver for all data downloads and database accesses requests across Daraz, and worked on applications to e-commerce and FinTech regulatory authorities in multiple countries fulfilling the information security requirements. At Easygenerator, they carried out contract reviews with corporate clients based on the GDPR, filled out security questionnaires for corporate clients, answered queries ranging from technical security controls to GDPR implementation, and provided and when required drafted documentation as a data processor compliant with the GDPR.
