Marc McFarland

Marc McFarland began their career in 2004 as an IT Consultant and Technician for Self Employed. Marc then worked as an Assistant Operations IT Manager for Calltech Communications from 2004 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as an IT Support Technician II and SharePoint Administrator for Expert Global Solutions. Since 2015, they have been a Senior NSOC Engineer and Network Operations Center at EasyIT: Managed IT Services. In these roles, they have been responsible for Remote Monitoring and Management and deployment of tools and systems, Product testing, engineering, review, and deployment, Configuration, Virtualization, Monitoring, Patching, Scripting, Automation, Antivirus, Security, Backups, On Boarding, Off Boarding, Cross Team Coordination, Change Request, Firewall, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Configurations, and Configuration and support of a Cisco and Microsoft Network environment from routers, switches, firewalls, and desktop through servers.

Marc McFarland completed a Certification Program in Information Technology Systems Administrator (ITSA) from MyComputerCareer.com / Techskills Columbus between 2015 and 2016. Marc also obtained four additional certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA, including 98-368: MTA: Mobility and Devices Fundamentals (February 2016), 98-366: MTA: Networking Fundamentals (November 2015), Network+ N10-006 (February 2016), and Security+ SY0-401 (July 2018).
