David Buckley

David Buckley has over a decade of experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Flight Operations Manager for Efficiencies & Sustainability at easyJet since June 2017, where responsibilities include producing and managing aeroplane performance information for safe and cost-effective operations. Prior to easyJet, Buckingham held roles at Jet2.com as Aircraft Performance Supervisor and Specialist, focusing on detailed analysis and reporting on aircraft performance, as well as at Monarch Airlines as a Flight Operations Engineer, producing performance data for the Airbus fleet. Initial experience was gained at Airbus Group as a Technical Marketing Engineer Intern, where David completed airline analyst training and worked on environmental aspects of aircraft performance. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aerospace Systems with Pilot Studies from the University of Hertfordshire.
