Prior to their aviation career, Doug served as a Graduate Trainee at Willis from 2012 to 2014, focusing on technical and scientific approaches in insurance broking. Doug's journey began in the Royal Air Force, where they gained military experience as an Acting Pilot Officer from 2008 to 2012, and they completed their flight training at CTC Aviation, where they achieved high marks in all examinations from 2014 to 2016. Doug holds a Master of Science in Economics, Finance, and Management from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath.
