Jo Smith has extensive experience in digital safety and compliance, currently serving as Head of Digital Safety Business Partnering at easyJet since December 2019, following roles as Digital Safety Compliance Manager and GRC Lead. Prior to easyJet, Jo held the position of Senior PCI Compliance Manager at Direct Line from January 2018 to December 2019, and worked at Worldpay as a PCI Business Analyst from January 2014 to January 2018. Jo began a career in IT security at Next Plc, contributing as an IT Security Analyst from January 2005 to January 2014, and held several positions at Next Retail Ltd. from December 2001 to January 2005, including Service Delivery Coordinator and IT Purchasing Coordinator. Jo started in the financial sector as a BACS Team Analyst at HSBC from October 1998 to December 2001. Jo holds a BA Hons degree in History from Bangor University.
