Joël Smeets

Joël Smeets is a Captain at easyJet and an Accident/Incident Investigator with the Dutch Airline Pilots Association (VNV). After graduating from Stella Aviation Academy in 2005, Joël began a career as a First Officer with Transavia before joining easyJet in 2007. Throughout their tenure, Joël transitioned to the A320, became a Captain in 2014, and moved bases to Amsterdam in 2015. Since 2017, Joël has actively worked as an investigator, continuously seeking to enhance their expertise in the aviation field.
