Marcello Leoni

Marcello Leoni, MBA, MSc, has extensive experience in the aviation sector and academia. Currently serving as a Training Captain (TRI/TRE) for L3 Commercial Training Solutions since 2015, Leoni provides simulator training to cadet pilots for major airlines, focusing on optimizing the learning environment. Since joining easyJet in 2006 as a Second Officer and advancing to Airline Captain in 2013, Leoni has successfully led flights across Europe. Additionally, Leoni has served as a Visiting Lecturer in Auditing and Risk Management at the Universities of Sassari and Cagliari since 2009, where innovative teaching methods enhance the education of senior staff in Italy’s National Health Service. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Birmingham, a Master of Science in Air Safety Management, and an ATPL from London Metropolitan University.
