Stephen C. Knapp

Stephen C. Knapp has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry. Stephen C. began their career in 1978 at Baltimore Gas & Electric, where they worked as a Bulk Power System Operator. In 2000, they joined Constellation as Director of Operations, where they developed and enforced a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and North American Electric Reliability Corporation regulatory compliance program. In 2013, they became Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Power Generation Services, Inc., where they developed a complete energy management infrastructure. In 2015, they joined Power Analytics Corporation as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Energy Markets, and in 2021 they became Director of Quality Assurance at EasyPower LLC. Throughout their career, Knapp has worked on various projects related to distributed energy resources, demand-side management, energy efficiency, and demand response.

Stephen C. Knapp has a Master's degree (MSE) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor's degree (BSE) in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a BSE in Electrical Engineering from USAF Air Command and Staff College, and a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program from Calvert Hall College High School. Additionally, they hold certifications from Exemplar Global, Inc., ERCOT, and PJM Interconnection, which were obtained in 2018, 2005, 1991, and 1988, respectively.
