Devon Mortensen

CEO/Co-founder at easyXAFS

Devon Mortensen began their career in 2008 as an Undergraduate Researcher at Brigham Young University. In 2011, they moved to the University of Washington as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2015, they became the CEO/Co-founder of easyXAFS, a company dedicated to improving R&D in the energy and environment sectors by providing simplified access to advanced x-ray methods and their interpretation.

Devon Mortensen began their educational journey in 2004, attending Brigham Young University - Idaho for one year of study in Physics. Devon then transferred to Brigham Young University in 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics in 2010. Mortensen continued their studies in Physics at the University of Washington, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2016.
