Rowena Scherer possesses extensive experience in both the culinary and financial sectors. Currently a member at Hampton since April 2024, Rowena has been the founder of eat2explore since May 2016, creating an award-winning cultural cooking kit aimed at enriching the culinary experiences of children and adults. Rowena also serves on the Board of Directors as the Mentorship & Diversity Chair for Entrepreneurs' Organization New York since July 2021. Previous roles include Managing Director at Silver Leaf Partners, with a focus on private placement services from January 2007 to May 2016, and a series of positions at JP Morgan Private Bank from 1993 to 2006, where responsibilities spanned client portfolio management and project management for new office setups in Asia. An early career as an audit assistant at Deloitte & Touche in Singapore provided foundational experience in financial auditing. Rowena holds an Executive MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as degrees in Accounting & Finance and Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington, complemented by culinary education from The French Culinary Institute.
