Jess Mayhugh

Jess Mayhugh is an accomplished media professional currently serving as Managing Editor for both Eater and Punch at Vox Media, where responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing editorial teams, and driving cross-network collaborations. Previously, at Thrillist, Jess held the position of Editorial Director for Food & Drink, leading a team that garnered the brand’s first-ever James Beard Award. Additional experience includes digital editorial roles at Baltimore Magazine and the Smithsonian Institution, as well as teaching digital publishing at Towson University. Jess holds a Master’s Degree in Emerging Media from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Art History from the University of Maryland.
