Jay Bhatt is an experienced lead engineer currently serving as the Lead Application and Acquisition Engineer for eMobility at Eaton, where they manage customer applications and new business pursuits. Previously, Jay held positions as a Development Engineer at Bertrandt, focusing on electric drive systems for BMW AG, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Elecon Engineering Company, where they developed gearbox components. Jay began their engineering journey with an internship at MAN Truck & Bus AG and completed a master’s thesis at AUDI AG, which involved developing a simulation method for multi-material component analysis. They earned a Master’s degree from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor’s degree from Gujarat Technological University.
