Mark Barker

Mark Barker, Ph.D., is an experienced leader and mechanical engineer specializing in the design, analysis, building, and testing of machines and mechanisms. They currently serve as the Research and Development Engineering Manager at Eaton, following a tenure at John Deere as Manager of Advanced Technology Integration and other roles. Mark has previously managed engineering teams and conducted structural analysis at ITD and Marley Cooling Tower, while also contributing to the field through their early career at Energy Masters Corporation. With a passion for innovation and mentoring, Mark holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, as well as an MBA from Drake University.
