Tom Rooke

Tom Rooke is an experienced aerospace and manufacturing professional, currently serving as Plant Manager at Eaton since June 2025. Prior to this, Tom held various leadership roles at StandardAero, including General Manager of Engine Services UK and Rotary Operations Director, and at GKN Aerospace, where responsibilities included Site Director and Head of Operations. Tom's earlier career included significant positions at GE Aviation as Composite Value Stream Operations Manager, and at Vector Aerospace, overseeing operations for engine services and repair, as well as management positions in Sea King helicopter maintenance. Tom began training as a mechanical apprentice at the Defence Aviation Repair Agency, where foundational skills were developed on a variety of aircraft. Educational background includes attendance at Newcastle Emlyn Secondary School from 1995 to 2000.
