John French

John French is a Senior Advisor and CISL Fellow at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, specializing in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. With extensive experience in management consulting and academic innovation, John has held leadership roles at various institutions, including as a Chair in Enterprise and Sustainability at the University of East Anglia and as a Fellow at Wolfson College. John earned a PhD in Applied Biology from the University of Cambridge and has led major projects promoting low carbon initiatives across the UK. They are also a Lay Governor at The Glasgow School of Art and have served as Director of Development and Sustainability at Cambridge Innovation Parks Ltd.
