Derek Nellis

Derek Nellis has a diverse work experience. Derek is currently a Full Stack Engineer at eBacon, a position they have held since 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Owner of 8-Bit Mammoth, where they were a composer, band leader, promoter, producer, and sound engineer. In 2020, they were also an Engineering Immersion Full-Stack Bootcamp at Thinkful, where they were a team leader, responsible for best-practices, style/formatting, and clean, maintainable code. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Chef at Fox Restaurant Concepts, where they were a team leader spearheading best-practices, safety, and quality production in a kitchen environment.

Derek Nellis obtained a Certificate in Full-Stack Web Development from Thinkful in 2020.
