Jichul Yang

JiChul Yang Ph.D has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Currently, they serve as the General Manager at Ebara Corporation since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Technology Research and Global Marketing at Ebara Technologies starting from 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Research Fellow and Vice President at SK hynix, where they led teams in the areas of Cleaning & CMP Innovation and Cost Reduction TFT. JiChul also worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Technical Leader from 2013 to 2017, where they led projects in CMP technology development and served as a CMP Representative. JiChul'searly career includes a role as Director at Samsung Electronics from 1998 to 2013. Additionally, they had a temporary position as a Visiting Professor at Clarkson University from 2021 to 2022, conducting co-research on nano-materials and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

JiChul Yang Ph.D holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Semiconductor Process and Integration from Sungkyunkwan University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University.
