Amit Sharma is an accomplished product management leader with extensive experience in driving search-related initiatives at eBay from January 2019 to March 2023. As Sr. Director of Product Management for Search & Structured Data, Amit led the Search Science team and developed AI-powered Next Gen Search experiences, overseeing a collaborative team of over 150 professionals. Previously, as Director of Product Management for Search, Amit managed various search-related products and teams, and as Director of Product Strategy and Business Growth for North America, Amit focused on buyer acquisition and retention strategies by building a growth hacking team. Amit began the career as a Senior Associate at marketRx from November 2009 to August 2012. Amit holds a B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
