Eugene Shelepov

Eugene Shelepov is an experienced professional in the field of security architecture and infrastructure management, currently serving as the Director of Security Architecture at eBay since August 2011. In this role, Eugene is responsible for defining the organization's multi-year security strategy and leading the Zero Trust Initiative, where significant phases such as device management and centralized identity access have been completed. Previously, Eugene held several management positions at eBay, focusing on Unix infrastructure and security, vendor management, compliance, and the implementation of critical security projects. Prior experience includes roles at Magento, where Eugene managed infrastructure engineering teams and developed SaaS infrastructure, and at Ericsson, where Eugene was involved in system testing and customer support for UNIX platforms. Eugene holds a Master’s degree in Network Security from the National Aviation University in Ukraine.
