William Buckwell is currently the Senior AI Governance & Global Privacy Counsel at eBay. They have held various roles in the legal field, including positions as AdTech & Monetization Counsel at Unity and Senior Product & Privacy Counsel at Mistplay. Previously, they contributed as a Student Editor for the Yearbook on International Investment Law and Policy at Oxford University Press and gained extensive experience through internships and legal research roles, including at the United Nations and DLA Piper. William obtained their Doctor of Jurisprudence from McGill University, where they also served as a Research Assistant.
