Yong Li

Yong Li is currently a database kernel architect at eBay, where they focus on the NuDocument product, a geo-replicated distributed document store. Previously, they served as a lead architect at Agfa Healthcare, overseeing architectural design and implementation for the IMPAX Agility system, and as a software development lead at Kisters AG, managing the WISKI 7 system for hydrology. Yong also worked as a principal software engineer at Oracle, where they contributed to BerkeleyDB, and at Huawei, focusing on Gauss100’s transaction engines. They hold a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen and Tsinghua University, respectively.
