Mallory Ringham

Lead Oceanographer, Head of MRV at Ebb Carbon

Mallory Ringham has a strong background in oceanography and research. Mallory is currently working at Ebb Carbon as the Lead Oceanographer and Head of MRV. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at Stony Brook University from 2022 to 2023. Mallory also pursued a PHD in Chemical Oceanography at the MIT/ WHOI Joint Program from 2016 to 2022. Mallory has extensive experience in the field, having worked as a Graduate Student at the MIT/ WHOI Joint Program in Oceanography from 2016 to 2022. Mallory's earlier work experience includes being a Science Manager and Science intern/datalogger at Ocean Exploration Trust from 2016 to 2017 and in 2015, respectively. Mallory also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Earth Sciences at Syracuse University from 2013 to 2015, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Siegel Laboratory, Earth Sciences Department at Syracuse University in 2012. Mallory has additionally worked as a Grader at the Mathematics Department, Syracuse University from 2010 to 2013, and as a Summer Student Fellow and Deep Submergence Laboratory Intern at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in 2012.

Mallory Ringham's education history includes a range of academic achievements. Mallory began their educational journey at Syracuse University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics & Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Syracuse University, completing it from 2013 to 2015.

Additionally, Mallory holds a significant academic accomplishment from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). They attended MIT from 2016 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Chemical Oceanography through a joint program with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Mallory has also obtained a certification in Duolingo French Fluency, reaching an advanced level in April 2016. This certification was acquired from Duolingo, an online educational platform.
