Andy Smith

Andy Smith is a seasoned property development and regeneration professional with extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects. Currently serving as Head of Development at Ebbsfleet Development Corporation since September 2025, Andy oversees the delivery of Ebbsfleet Central. Prior to this role, Andy was a Director at SQW, where leadership involved establishing a new Land & Property Services offer and managing a team of consultants. Andy's prior experience includes a partnership at BBP Regeneration, where consultancy services were provided to public and private sectors, and senior land management roles at Berkeley Group, Barratt Developments, and Taylor Wimpey, focusing on land acquisition and appraisal. Andy holds an MESci degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford.
