Waleed Halaby

Waleed Halaby has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Waleed worked at the Egyptian Banks Company from April 2017 to present, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Senior Software Engineer and currently serves as a Team Lead Software Engineer. Prior to this, they co-founded Augmentage, a development startup focused on wearable augmented reality solutions for the healthcare sector. Waleed was involved in this role from November 2014 to March 2016. Additionally, Waleed worked as a Frontend Developer at Benchmark Middle East from September 2015 to February 2016. Waleed also gained experience as a Junior Researcher at HCI Labs Egypt from January 2014 to June 2015. Finally, they worked as a Web Designer at Proweb Systems from June 2013 to May 2015.

Waleed Halaby obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Misr International University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Al Farouk Islamic School from 1996 to 2011. In 2015, they also obtained a certification as a Mobile Application Developer from IBM.
