Abigail Rich is a highly experienced attorney currently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney and Clinical Supervisor at the East Bay Community Law Center since August 2021. Previously, Abigail held positions as a Staff Attorney and Liman Fellow at the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant from September 2016 to August 2021. Abigail's legal journey began with internships at Greater Boston Legal Services and GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders in 2015 and 2014, respectively. Additionally, Abigail gained experience in communications at the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT from June 2009 to July 2013. Abigail holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Yale Law School (2013-2016) and a BA in Art History and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis (2005-2009).

Since its founding in 1988 by law students at Berkeley Law, EBCLC has grown to be a nationally-recognized anti-poverty legal clinic, training 150 students per year and providing holistic services and policy advocacy in the areas of health, housing, immigration, economic security, and education.
