Andy Cafferkey

Andy Cafferkey is the Head of I.T. & Technical Services at European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI since November 2005. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing & IT and Business, Andy has a strong background in systems engineering and technical coordination. Prior to joining EMBL-EBI, Andy worked as a Systems Engineer at PI Group and Savills, and as a Senior Systems Administrator at Cambridge Positioning Systems. Andy's expertise lies in leading teams, implementing enterprise-wide systems, and managing technical services.
