Diana Marques is a Research Management Officer at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since June 2022, responsible for research project management, budget allocation, grant support, and colleague training. Previously, Diana served as a Master Thesis Student at Escola de Economia e Gestão - Universidade do Minho, focusing on citizen engagement in a biodiversity monitoring project. Diana has experience as a researcher in the EASY-RIDE project, a laboratory analyst at Etanor/Penha, and worked as a master student developing an epidemiologic survey on Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Business and Management and a Master's Degree in Applied Biochemistry, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology, all obtained from Universidade do Minho.
