Melanie Vollmar, Dr. rer. nat., is currently an ARISE and Marie Curie Fellow at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI since 2022. Previously, Melanie served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), Diamond Light Source, and The University of Manchester from 2009 to 2022. Melanie completed a Doctorate in Structural Biology with a focus on Membrane Proteins at the University of Düsseldorf from 2006 to 2009 and holds a Diploma in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Regensburg, where studies are ongoing.
