Mike Relac is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the field of software engineering. Since August 2013, Mike has been contributing to the KOMP2 Knock-out Mouse Phenotyping project at EMBL-EBI. Prior to this, from September 2006 to July 2013, Mike was a Software Engineer III at The Jackson Laboratory, focusing on the design and implementation of Laboratory Information Management Systems, including the jaxLIMS project. Mike has also served as an owner at Fox Hill Associates, Inc., and held consultant roles at EMC Computer Systems, The Jackson Laboratory, Ingres, and Hewlett-Packard. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, between 1979 and 1982.
