Timothee Cezard

Timothee Cezard is a highly experienced bioinformatics professional with extensive expertise in software development and project management. Currently serving as Project Lead at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since January 2020, Timothee previously held the position of Lead Informatician at Edinburgh Genomics from January 2010 to January 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team of developers and implementing quality management systems. Earlier roles include Bioinformatics Specialist at Edinburgh Genomics, where Timothee designed automated pipelines and provided strategic IT support, Bioinformatics Analyst at the Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre, focusing on next-generation sequencing data analysis, and Bioinformatics Manager at Nokad S.A. Timothee holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
