The Escola EBLP is a dance and Pilates school with two locations in Matosinhos (Leça da Palmeira and Agudela), with more than 30 years of experience in teaching children, teenagers and adults. We believe in education through dance and movement: we work on technique, discipline and artistic expression, always respecting each student’s pace and individuality.
We offer classical ballet, contemporary dance, creative dance, dance for adults, fusion of styles, modern jazz, Pilates classes and other complementary modalities. Our goal is for every student to find in Escola EBLP a safe, welcoming and demanding space, where they can grow in confidence, body awareness and well‑being.
Over the last three decades, we have accompanied hundreds of students and families, organising annual shows, thematic presentations and special projects with strong involvement from the local community. We work with small groups, close follow‑up and an experienced teaching team, many of whom have been with us for several years.
In addition to regular classes, Escola EBLP is open to developing partnerships and projects with:

Schools and colleges (curricular and extracurricular activities, thematic weeks, artistic projects)
Companies (well‑being programmes, group classes, team building events, activities for employees’ families)
Municipalities, parish councils and cultural institutions (performances, dance workshops, participation in local initiatives)
Associations and community projects related to education, inclusion and health

We value long‑term relationships, clear communication and a professional approach to organising activities: planning, scheduling, teams, safety and evaluation of results.
If you represent an educational institution, company or community organisation and would like to explore a project with us, we will be happy to talk.
