Zinaida Peric

Zinaida Peric is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Rijeka and currently serves as the Head of the Hematology Department at the Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka. They previously worked as a Hematologist and BMT physician at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb from 2011 to 2023 and held the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb from 2018 to 2023. Zinaida has been actively involved in the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), serving as Chairperson of the GvHD Subcommittee of the Transplant Complications Working Party from 2017 to 2021 and is currently the Chairperson of the Transplant Complications Working Party through 2025. They earned both a PhD and an MD from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, completing their studies in 2014 and 2007, respectively.
