Ben Yang Johnson

Ben Yang Johnson is an experienced professional in the brewing and water systems industries, currently serving as a Water System Inspector I at EBMUD since September 2019. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions at Gordon Biersch Brewing Company from 2006 to 2018, including Head Brewer, Senior Brewer, and Brewer, where responsibilities included managing brewing operations, recipe development, and training new staff. Additionally, Ben worked as a Project Manager at Walters & Wolf for a brief period in 2019 and served as an Assistant Manager at Plumel Ind. e Com., focusing on team training and production efficiency. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science & Technology with an emphasis in Brewing Science from the University of California, Davis, in 2006.
