David Gluchowski

David Gluchowski is a seasoned water treatment professional with extensive experience in the water industry. Currently serving as the Superintendent of Water Treatment at EBMUD since December 2014, David oversees the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities that supply high-quality drinking water to 1.4 million residents. David's career progression at EBMUD includes roles as Water Treatment Supervisor, Senior Water Treatment Operator, Water Treatment Operator, and Water Treatment Operator Trainee, all contributing to expertise in water treatment operations. Prior to EBMUD, David worked for the City of Sunnyvale as an Environmental Compliance Inspector and Environmental Field Technician, focusing on inspections and water quality compliance. Earlier experience encompasses roles at the San Francisco Estuary Institute, California Department of Water Resources, and contributions to ecological research projects while pursuing a B.S. in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
